Hosts Symposium on the High-Quality Development of Private Enterprises Jointly Charting a New Blueprint for the Growth of the Private Economy

On February 25, the 2025 Symposium on the High-Quality Development of Private Enterprises, organized by the Tianhe District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce), was held at Beiming Software Co., Ltd. Tan Minghe, Secretary of the CPC Tianhe District Committee of Guangzhou; Wei Guohua, Deputy Director of Guangzhou Municipal United Front Work Department and Party Secretary of Guangzhou Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce; Yuan Xiaoyi and Deng Ping, Deputy Mayors of Tianhe District; along with heads of multiple functional departments including the District Federation of Industry and Commerce, the District Bureau of Science, Industry and Information Technology, the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the District Housing and Urban-Rural Development and Landscaping Bureau, the District Bureau of Commerce, the District Market Administration Bureau, the District Bureau of Government Services and Data, the District Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources, and the Management Committee of Tianhe Central Business District, as well as representatives from 29 private enterprises, gathered to engage in in-depth discussions focused on the high-quality development of private enterprises. The meeting was chaired by Xie Changlin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Tianhe District Committee, Director of the Office of CPC Tianhe District Committee, and Head of the United Front Work Department.

        After carefully listening to the opinions and suggestions of the entrepreneur representatives, Tan Minghe, Secretary of the CPC Tianhe District Committee of Guangzhou, praised the entrepreneurs for their dedication and perseverance in overcoming challenges. He stated that Tianhe District will strive to create a first-class business environment, deliver top-quality services to enterprises, anticipate their needs, respond promptly to urgent issues, and effectively address the challenges and difficulties faced by businesses. Tan Minghe emphasized that, moving forward, Tianhe District will closely focus on the “12126” modern industrial system, develop more precise and effective policy measures, enhance the provision of essential resources, and promote the accurate alignment of supply and demand, creating favorable conditions for enterprise development. He also proposed that Tianhe District be developed into the ideal environment for private enterprise growth, enabling every entrepreneur to achieve high-quality development of their businesses in this dynamic region.

        Wei Guohua, Deputy Director of Guangzhou Municipal United Front Work Department and Party Secretary of Guangzhou Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, emphasized in his speech that the government and private enterprises form a community of shared destiny, and that the government will provide strong support to entrepreneurs who demonstrate responsibility and initiative. He proposed that the reform of “streamline administration and delegate power, combine power delegation with effective oversight and improve service all in a coordinated way” be continuously deepened, approval processes further simplified, administrative efficiency enhanced, and an effective enterprise demand response mechanism established to promptly address the challenges businesses face in their development. Wei Guohua also encouraged entrepreneurs to remain mindful of the nation’s priorities and to dedicate themselves to the development of modern industries with a strong sense of responsibility and mission, contributing greater wisdom and effort to the high-quality development of the economy.

        Ying Huajiang, President of Beiming Software Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech as a representative of private enterprises, titled “How Private Enterprises Can Achieve High-Quality Development in the New Development Pattern.” Drawing on the company’s nearly 30-year development history in Guangzhou, he offered an in-depth analysis of the challenges currently facing the private economy. He pointed out that, under the current complex economic conditions, although the private economy faces certain challenges, as the President Xi Jinping has noted, these difficulties generally occur during processes of reform, development, and industrial transformation and upgrading; they are localized, temporary, and surmountable. Ying called on private enterprises to sustain their entrepreneurial passion and patriotic commitment, continuously raise their own standards, and align their business development with the broader national strategic agenda. At the same time, as Chairman of the Tianhe District Federation of Industry and Commerce and President of the General Chamber of Commerce, Ying Huajiang stated that the Federation will continue to serve as a bridge and link, strengthen close connections with enterprises, integrate resources from all parties, and provide robust support for the high-quality development of the private economy.

        The symposium provided clear guidance for the high-quality development of private enterprises in Tianhe District and strengthened the bridge for communication and cooperation between the government and enterprises. With the joint efforts of the government and businesses, the private economy in Tianhe District is poised to achieve an even brighter future.
